Sugarcane bowls are your sustainable single-use option. Like all sugarcane plates and bowls, they are completely uncoated. Nevertheless, the surface is still durable and cut-proof. The bowls are made from bagasse, a byproduct of sugar production. The bagasse protects the bowls from moisture and fat through its natural properties. So our raw material doesn’t require any plantations – it already exists. The bagasse is ground for further processing and made into a paste. This is then pressed into a shape and the sugarcane bowls are done. No coating is necessary. After use, the bowls can be composted in accordance with EN13432 and are completely biodegradable. Sugarcane bowls are just as pleasant for your customers to use as your staff. With these sugarcane plates, you’re sure to impress your customers as well as our environment.
